Plenty of Middle-Eastern restaurants on Chiswick High Road, and this is one I’d not recommend based on dining there once. If you’re looking for good Lebanese dining – as opposed to a pleasant restaurant essentially serving kebab-calibre fayre, then perhaps Shams is not the place for dinner tonight.
Pyjama Breakfast are a unique company offering breakfast delivered straight to your door in Chiswick. They are certainly worth a try!

Vinoteca is a buzzing, cosy wine bar in the heart of Chiswick’s “indie quarter”, the lovely Devonshire Road. If you enjoy exploring wines from around the world, or if you are looking for a chic grown-up wine bar to savour a long chat with friends over a decent bottle, then you won’t go wrong here.

Underwhelmed by the quality of the food, and overwhelmed by the price. There are a number of far superior sushi joints within 10 minutes walking distance. Try Minato a few minutes walk towards Hammersmith, or the lovely, tiny, family-run Makato on Devonshire Road.
If you’ve lived in Chiswick for a while but haven’t made a visit, then you are missing out. People come from far and wide to grab a slice of the atmosphere – and a piece of authentic American cake bake.
